Coming for the Weekend?

  1. Hotel InterContinental$229/night
This is the best and most expensive hotel. If you can afford it, you really should stay here. We have the traditional wedding block arrangement with this hotel, so just call them up and tell them you are with the Trautman Lasich party.
  2. Longman & Eagle$75–$200/night
This is a bar that rents rooms above it. I know that sounds sketchy, but it’s actually very nice. It’s also right by our house! If you are under 35, you should strongly consider staying here. It lacks some amenities that older folks will be used to. If you would like to stay in a room at L&E, please email Nelson at
  3. Red Roof Inn$159/night
I have never been to this hotel, but it gets middling reviews on Yelp. It’s a lot cheaper than the InterContinental. If you are on a budget, you should stay here. If you would like to stay in a room here, please email Nelson at
  4. Other Options
There is a NATO/G8 conference the weekend of our wedding, so what we have been able to arrange is a little sparse. We should have enough room for everyone, but if the above options fill up or are too expensive, you are encouraged to find your own arrangements. There are many individual rooms available, but we can't get blocks reserved right now. There are some very cheap prices out in the suburbs, but I would avoid the suburbs if possible; you will need a car. Try Kayak or Trip Advisor. Make reservations now.

...or Staying Longer?

If you will be staying for several days, I strongly advise you to consider renting an apartment or a house. Split it with some other people. Hotels are scandalously expensive. Look on Craigslist or Airbnb.

You should look into this NOW.
